Privacy Policy
Effective: August 22, 2026
This policy describes how the iOS app "One Screen" (the "App") handles your information.
1. We collect nothing
The developer does not collect, receive, or transmit any personal information, usage data, or the apps you add. The App contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
2. Where your data lives
The apps you add, your sets, your background choice, and your ordering are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to a developer server, and nothing is synced to iCloud or anywhere else. Deleting the App deletes this data with it.
3. Detecting apps on your device
To suggest apps you already have, the App asks the system whether each app in its catalog can be opened, using the standard canOpenURL check. This only answers yes or no for specific catalog entries — it cannot enumerate the apps installed on your device. The answers never leave your device.
4. When the App connects to the internet
The App reaches the network only in these cases, and never sends anything that identifies you:
- App icons: artwork published on the App Store is fetched from Apple's public iTunes Search API.
- Adding via App Store search: the search term you type is sent to that same API.
- Requesting app support: only when you submit a request, the app name you typed is sent to the developer's form, along with the App and OS version so the developer knows the context. No name or contact details are requested.
5. Photo access
To use a photo as a background, the App uses the system photo picker, which does not give the App access to your photo library. Only the photo you explicitly select is stored on your device as a background.
6. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store. The developer never receives your payment details.
7. Changes to this policy
Any changes will be announced on this page, and significant changes will also be announced in the App.
8. Contact
For questions about this policy, please reach out via the developer on X (@szkyudi).
